I had an eclectus female for almost 5 years. Very lovable and good talkers. She had an accident and died and to this day I still think of and miss her imencely. They are very much trainable and not a loud bird but a constant cut up. Given the opportunity I wouldn't hesitate to get another baby or even an adult adoption, but the adoption route is alway a little more challenging and I wouldn't recommend that route for an inexperienced owner.

What about Eclectus ?? I have heard they are a breed newer to the us as pets say in the last 15 yr's or so. Are they noted to be talkers?
